Hillsdale Industrial Development Commission
County Industries invested 21 million dollars in new facilities and equipment during 1999, creating in excess of 100 new industrial jobs and over 50 retail jobs. During the past five years industry has invested over 165 million dollars in Hillsdale County and created more than 1350 industrial jobs.There are over 110 industries in Hillsdale County.

Industry is bolstered by loyal, hard-working employees and is well supported by various government units,allowing more people to enjoy Hillsdale's wonderful quality of life.

The manufacturing company mix is well balanced, serving the automotive industry as well as other major markets. We produce molded plastics, playground and sports equipment, automotive assemblies, gears and components, food products, instruments, electronic equipment, tools and many other products.

During the past few years many industries have moved into industrial park facilities offered by various municipalities and the Hillsdale County Industrial Development Commission. The 415 acre Hillsdale Industrial Park, the 220 acre Litchfield Industrial Park, 115 acre Jonesville Industrial Park and 80 acre Reading Industrial Park is home for a growing number of thriving companies. Industrial lots offer immediate access to paved roads, city water and sewer, natural gas, heavy duty electricity and telephone facilities.

Throughout Hillsdale County you will find solid industrial companies in towns and villages such as Camden, Pittsford, Osseo, North Adams, and Waldron.
