Hillsdale Board of Public Utilities
The City of Hillsdale is unique in that it owns and maintains its own electrical utility as well as water and sewer.

The The HBPU Office is located at 45 Monroe St. and is open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Anytime you call our office after hours, you will get our recording which offers several options.

You can leave a message in the general mailbox. These messages are listened to the next business morning. You can dial the extension number of the person you want or dial *2 to get the directory. If you need to report an outage or electric or water/sewer emergency, you can leave a message in the appropiate emergency mailbox and the on-call service personnel will repond.

To leave an emergency message, you must have a touch tone phone. If you do not have touch tone capabilities, please call 911 and request that they place the call for you.

Contact the Hillsdale BPU for further information.
